SAM DIMENSION

About
SAM-DIMENSION is an agricultural technology startup focused on precision weed control strategies to enable plant-specific treatments and reduce the number of herbicides needed. Using drones with optical sensors, SAM-DIMENSION collects high-resolution geo-referenced images to identify weeds using an AI. SAM-DIMENSION makes this information available to agricultural weeding machinery and other precision farming-related farm management platforms.
BatchOne supported SAM-DIMENSION by integrating off-the-shelve (OTS) components and developing a prototype for the optical sensor platform to enable first tests. As an initial step, BatchOne created a suitable development environment based on the hardware and software components provided by the customer. Including, in particular, OS, configuration, SDKs, and toolchains. Next, BatchOne validated the development environment to ensure compatibility and operationality, including storage, flight controllers, and sensors.
Together with SAM-DIMENSION, BatchOne created a concept for implementing the desired use cases and the functionality of the base components via software to prove their feasibility. After testing the primary Proof-of-Concept, BatchOne helped SAM-DIMENSION to realize additional use cases.
